called forth

“When that Aprill with his shoures sweete
The droghte of March hath perced to the roote,
And bathed every veyne in swich licour
Of which vertu engendred is the flower;
Whan zephirus has with his sweete breeth
Inspired hath in every holt and heath
Tendre croppes, and the young sonne
Hath in the ram his halve course yronne,
And smale fowls maken melodye,
That slepen al the nyght with open eye
(so priketh them nature in hir courages);
Thanne longen folk to go on pilgrimages,
And palmeres for to seken strange strands,
To foreign halwes, known in sundry landes”
.

~ Geoffrey Chaucer, The Canterbury Tales

Very well done.
Spring. I like the sounds the smells, the sights and the music. You blend them all together so very good with your post.

Music of spring, birds, breeze in the trees and the buzzing of the few flying insects.

Then there is the music made by man. I find it fascinating how a particular tune can bring back memories of places, smells, activities and sometimes even more.
