Seeking
and
Speculating :
From the coast of Maine, ever musing upon life's fascinating mysteries and living a pilgrimage of trust on earth.
"La Vie Graphite," the Graphite Life- began in pencil, and continues as an equally erasable medium of varying tones.
Heavy thoughts at times, but from a lighthearted soul- always glad to hear from kindred souls.
Je pense, donc j'écris!
My favorite priest and dear friend, Fr. Don, who is the rector of our Seminary, came to visit my parish this weekend to promote vocations and awareness of the Seminary. In his fabulous homily he spoke about answering the call as finding what it is that God wants for you, not what you want for your self. He spoke about how much he loves his life as a priest and wouldn't consider being anything else because he knows that this is what God wants for him. As he was speaking, I looked at the youth in the parish and it seemed as if their faces were glowing with understanding and hope. You are so right in saying it comes from deep within. By the brilliance and joy that radiates in each word and picture of your blog, it seems apparent to me that you are also living your call from God in a most loving way and that you wouldn't consider doing anything else.
